up tomorrow. sonoma 75 today. redwood city 74. 73 napa. 72 concord. 71 san francisco. how about that. and 70 in richmond. beautiful day out there for halloween but you know, tomorrow we begin our rainy season and we can use some rainfall. none tonight and tomorrow. kpix 5 doppler radar is dry but there are signs the pattern will change. long-range outlooks paint a chilly cooler than normal picture. toward mid-november a decent chance of rainfall coming up in that same time period. not the next several days. a week to two weeks out, we may see a major pattern change because we have been stuck with this for the past four months. high pressure off to the west a lot of sunshine tomorrow and tomorrow warmer than today and saturday sunny and mild. area of low pressure sunday will not yield rainfall but cooler highs in the 60s and breezy sunday and also will be cloudier. so you want the you is uv sunshine over the weekend saturday. you want the cooler weather over the weekend more november- ish that will be coming up for you on sunday. look at these highs tomorrow. concord 75. san jose 74.
and napa. san francisco 58. san jose 62. still mild in the south bay, but probably by the 8:00 or 9:00 hour, definitely need the sweater or jacket with the cooldown. for tonight, mostly clear skies, tomorrow, more sunshine. the warming trend continues. the weekend, we go the other direction for saturday and sunday. a bit of a drop off in our temperatures. overnight lows first thing tomorrow morning, coolest locations will be in the upper 30s for santa rosa, napa. and lots of 40s for concord, livermore, and san jose. so high pressure in command of our weather for one more day. we'll call it a warm friday. we're thinking 60s and 70s. here's the change. this weather system moves in from the north into the weekend. you can see temperatures dropping into saturday and sunday. by monday, the winds could be increasing out of north. that will increase the fire danger somewhat. keep an eye on that for monday and into tuesday. starting out the day in the 40s and 50s. the greens and yellows link up to the 70s. warmest locations inland, mid to upper 70s. lots of 70s in the forecast maps for your friday

, nice new 67, santa rosa, mid-60s, napa. novato, 67. upper 60s, concord and livermore. one more live view from the east bay hills camera. looking over at mount diablo, eastward, the sky is still bright. the forecast features, clear and cool for trick or treaters around anyone else who is around tonight, some chilly spots during the overnight hours, especially in the north bay valleys, mild tomorrow, milder than today, as a matter of fact, but it will be a little bit cooler over the weekend. our satellite radar composite image shows a large, expansive area of high pressure that will be the dominant pitch earth next several days, dry pattern we have now will extend into next week. it will get cooler. what a dry october we have had. dry octobers in san francisco this month, no measurable rainfall at all. 4 1 4th occurrence of a completely dry october in san francisco since 1849. the last was in 1980, no indicator of what kind of rainy season we are going to have. some of our rainiest rainy seasons, some of the driest rainy seasons following dry octobers. interesting information though.
. napa, 73. so a great saturday shaping up. then as we transition into late saturday, also into sunday, we're going to see that wind pick up. it doesn't look as bad as last week's windstorm, but saturday night, most of the increasing wind across the north bay, point rayes. winds that correspond with the key at 15 to 30 miles per hour. as we head throughout sunday morning, looks like the east bay, south bay and peninsula will start to get in on those winds at 15 to 30 miles per hour as well. do watch out for that. again, mainly on sunday morning. our next possibility of rain looks to swing down here as we head throughout next friday in the next forecast. it's a long way out, but we've been a month without any kind of rainfall. that will be good news. on the seven-day forecast, the weekend best day to be out. mid 70s inland. sunday colder and windier with upper 60s. we'll stay with the 60s through tuesday of next week. tick tock. don't forget those clocks. set them back one hour as we head throughout sunday. i had to bring that back. i said that last year and i remembered it. >> tick toc
